Hi, Rob, you have clarified some of my problems. Do you use a foot pedal or the machine auto speed and what speed do you recommend. Thank you for your time and the videos. I have made a couple of your projects and my daughters Wheaton loves the ball with the noise inside.:) Will be starting your simple strip scramble soon.. Thank you again Sherry M
How long before it becomes my favorite part of quilting ~ cuz right now, my free motion looks like cartoon drawings! Hahaha! Good thing I have determination and a sense of humor.
Hi! Could you address some of the issues we might have with a low-quality machine? My domestic sewing machine is a hand-me-down, and I’m a poor student, so like a lot of folks I can’t afford a nicer one at the moment. No free-motion accessories are available for it, and the feed dogs don’t even drop! (It does have a cover for darning purposes.) I have done some straight-line quilting that came out okay, but I got a lot of waves despite really dense basting. I even tried a walking foot, but that made the waves worse in some places. HELP!!! (Love your show, can’t thank you enough!)
