Tool Pouch Tutorial

Do you struggle to keep track of your sewing supplies? You are not alone!

A tidy workspace is the dream, but we all know things can get a little messy when you’re in the middle of a project. Scissors get lost under piles of fabric. Pins roll off the table. Seam rippers hide under the edge of the machine. It’s chaos!

Keep your sewing supplies organized and accessible with Rob’s new Tool Pouch. It has pockets and a trash holder, and it hangs right under the sewing machine! Click HERE to watch the video tutorial!

Composition Book Cover

Ordinary is fine. Plain vanilla ice cream. Chips without salsa. (An arm with no tattoos.) They’re all just fine

So when you pick up a new composition notebook, you can totally leave the cover alone. It’s fine. It’s “good enough.” It does the job. But…it’s also pretty darn “blah.”

Spice up that plain ole notebook with a custom fabric book cover made out of 10 inch squares of precut fabric (aka layer cakes). It’s a quick and easy sewing project with tons of personality. Click HERE to watch the tutorial!

Skully Cap

What can you do with a skull cap? Plenty!

Doctors and nurses wear skull caps (or scrub caps) to secure their hair during surgery.

Chefs wear skull caps to keep hair out of their twice-braised beef.

Motorcycle riders, football players, and construction workers wear skull caps to make their helmets and hard hats more comfortable. (And to look super cool, of course.)

This week Rob is working on a totally rad, custom skull cap. Make it out of superheros, Harry Potter prints, or a gnarly Indian Motorcycle design, and you’re guaranteed to be the coolest dude around!
