  1. Hi Rob,

I’m putting together my first piecework quilt and it’s been a lot of fun. I’m going to free motion quilt it so I’ve been watching your tutorials and have a quick questions about the quilting design. I’ve notice that the majority of quilting designs are made up a continuous line. Is there a reason for that or it is just simpler? The quilt I’ve put together is a pinwheel quilt and I would love to attempt to quilt in some wind as illustrated by the picture attached with some swirly filler. From a functional, I don’t want this quilt to fall apart, standpoint, is that a good idea or would I be better off sticking with some regular swirls?

    Thank you so much!
